Jordan 2011 in Black/Electric Green

by Chris O’Leary/@olearychris

The colorways continue to pop up for the Jordan 2011. From Dwyane Wade’s player exclusive versions of the shoe that made their way into the mix in the last couple of weeks, to the Oak Hill Academy PEs that we saw on ESPN through the weekend, Jordan Brand has been busy giving its flagship shoe continually fresh looks.

The latest colorway shouldn’t be a total surprise. Black/electric green has grown quite popular lately. It might be an APL influence, or it might just be a popular color with the Swoosh, who will be blessing us soon enough with the same makeup in a Foamposite shoe. They also went this route with the Kobe VI, calling it the Rice HS edition of the shoe, which Rajon Rondo has worn once or twice this season with the Celtics.

I’m still more of a fan of the Foamposite makeup, but I’m feeling this 2011. What do you guys think of these sneaks and what do you think of the black/electric green color combo on a sneaker?
