Julius Randle Fined $15K for ‘Obscene Gesture’

The NBA continues to hate on the eternally-hilarious Big Balls Dance.

Julius Randle has been slapped with a $15K fine for making an “obscene gesture” after making a game-winner earlier this week.

Randle’s spinning floater gave the Los Angeles Lakers an improbable 102-100 overtime win against the visiting Miami Heat.

From the press release:

Los Angeles Lakers forward Julius Randle has been fined $15,000 for making an obscene gesture, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

Randle’s actions occurred with 1.9 seconds remaining in overtime of the Lakers’ 102-100 victory over the Miami Heat on March 30 at Staples Center.
