Kevin Durant and the OKC Thunder Will ‘Fight to the End’

Facing a virtually insurmountable 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals — no team has ever ever come back from that big a hole to win the title since the League adopted the 2-3-2 format — Kevin Durant says his OKC Thunder are not ready to throw in the towel, by any stretch of the imagination. Per the Oklahoman: “The only people who still seem to believe are, well, the Thunder. ‘We know that it’s a new day and anything can happen,’ said Kevin Durant. ‘It’s not over. You got to keep fighting and we’re going to fight to the end no matter what.’ Durant continued. ‘That’s the type of DNA we have here,’ he said. ‘That’s Oklahoma City as a city, Oklahoma as a state and the Thunder as a team. We’re going to fight to the end.'”
