Kings Sign Arron Afflalo To 2-Year, $25 Million Deal

Free agent guard Arron Afflalo opted out of his contract with the Knicks, leaving the $8 million he was slated to earn next season on the table.

The gamble paid off on Saturday, when the 30-year-old signed a two-year pact with Sacramento worth $25 million.

The nine-year vet averaged 12.8 points on 44.3 percent shooting from the field and 38.2 percent on three-pointers last season.
