Kyle Anderson Commits to UCLA

One of the top recruits in the nation is now officially off the market. Kyle Anderson, who we feature in our current 152 Issue – out in newsstands right now! – announced through his Twitter page that he will be taking his talents to Hollywood and attend UCLA. Coincidentally – or not- his Twitter page name is Vinny Chase, the main character in HBO’s Entourage.

“Had great family meeting. I’ve decided to be a UCLA BRUIN!!”, said Anderson through the social networking site late Monday night .

The 6-8 small forward, who ranks third in SLAM’s Fresh 50-2012, is known for his ability to play multiple positions out on the perimeter and excelling at bringing up the ball, getting others involved, and overall decision making. His nonchalant game has become one of the most intriguing. Anderson, who turns 18 today, was also considering Seton Hall, Georgetown, Florida, and St. John’s. The addition of a player of Anderson’s status to the Bruins brings the program back to the national stage after having struggled to make a run in the NCAA Tournament the last three seasons – following 2008’s Final Four run.

We figured it would be cool that while we were at it, we hook you up with Anderson’s print piece. Enjoy.
