LeBron James on Injuries: ‘The Most Difficult Thing I’ve Been Through’

by January 13, 2015

Nagging back and knee injuries have kept LeBron James off the court the past eight games, and the Cleveland Cavaliers have been an absolute trainwreck without him.

James remains a game-time decision for a Tuesday night tilt against the Suns in Phoenix, but says his body is feeling much better due to the extended rest.

LeBron, perhaps exaggerating, claims the long layoff has been the toughest thing he’s dealt with during his career.

Per the NEOMG:

He said he was “a little sore, a little tight” Tuesday morning, following his first practice in a while on Monday, though his highly public jaunt from Phoenix to Dallas for Ohio State’s national championship victory Monday night would seem to indicate he intends to play.

“It’s the most difficult thing I’ve been through,” he said.

James also said “I hated the fact that we were playing some decent ball when I went out and we just dropped a lot of games when I went out. Hopefully if I can make it back tonight or very soon we can get back to our winning ways.”
