LeBron James Says He’s ‘Too Tough’ to Get a Concussion

Last night’s game against the Phoenix Suns was a rough one for LeBron James, as he hurt the same right elbow that’s caused him problems in the past. When asked about a possible concussion after colliding with Grant Hill, James claimed that he’s too tough for such things. From Fox Sports: “It looked scary. LeBron James plowed headfirst into Grant Hill in the final minute and was down on the court for about two minutes. But James’ Miami teammate, Dexter Pittman, knows how tough James is. He said he wasn’t too concerned. ‘Not really,’ the center said after the Heat’s 99-95 win Tuesday night over Phoenix at AmericanAirlines Arena. ‘I know the guy is like the Terminator, he bounces back up. He’s like this creepy, scary guy, Mike Myers, in a movie whenever he gets knocked around. I knew he was going to get up.’ OK, so is James more like the Terminator or Myers from the Halloween movies? ‘I would say Micheal Myers,’ Pittman said. ‘You can’t kill him.’ James doesn’t necessarily disagree. The final question during his postgame news conference was if he ever has had a concussion. ‘No,’ James said. ‘I’m too tough for that.’ Then he walked away, acting as if nothing had happened.”
