Lou Amundson Needs Surgery on Finger

Amundson, the Warriors’ newly-acquired big, won’t be able to help out the team for a period of time as his injuries keep mounting. CSN reports: “The Warriors are going to be without backup center Lou Amundson for a little while. Amundson suffered a fracture in his right index finger during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers – and the injury will require surgery. The date for the surgery has not yet been determined. The Warriors signed Amundson to a two-year contract in the offseason worth just under $5 million. Amundson played in 79 games for the Suns in 2009-10, but has been banged up since training camp started. He missed the first three exhibition games and several practices with stiffness in his lower back.”
