Luol Deng Out ‘a While’ With Torn Wrist Ligament

The Chicago Bulls aren’t being very forthcoming with the details regarding how long Luol Deng will be out. All we know is that his left wrist has a torn ligament. Per CSN Chicago (and SLAM’s) Aggrey Sam: “[Luol Deng] and Taj [Gibson] out today. Lu has torn ligament in his left wrist. Won’t have surgery. Week-to-week. ‘Out for a while,’ according to [head coach Tom Thibodeau.] Deng said that the pain in his wrist has decreased but his return will depend on how much he can manage it. He is officially week-to-week. The forward is averaging 15.9 points per game this season.”
