Marvin Willliams Underwent Minor Back Surgery

The Atlanta Hawks’ forward had a discetomy on his lower back to alleviate an isolated bulging disk, according to the team: “Dr. Hal Silcox of Peachtree Orthopedic Clinics performed the outpatient procedure. Williams walked out of the surgery center [Wednesday] afternoon and will begin rehabilitation immediately. He is expected to make a full recovery and return to full basketball activity in six-to-eight weeks.”
