Cuban had a such a great time at All-Star, that he’s now thinking about his own team playing in the enormous stadium: “Cuban said before Tuesday’s game against Oklahoma City that he’s planning on doing his due diligence to see if playing an occasional game in Arlington could be feasible. ‘If we can make the economics work, we’d look at having a regular season or a playoff game over there,’ Cuban said. ‘We’d basically have to buy out the AAC date, as if it were an active date, and make sure all our partners (are on board). But there are a lot of strategic reasons, as well as economic reasons, to play a game over there. You can bring in twice as many fans, so economically, it would probably work out. And it would be a unique attraction for people who wanted to come play for the Mavs.’ Several NBA teams have used domed football stadiums for their home court with varying degrees of success.”
