Back in November, SLAM was invited to check out Medora, a documentary about a small town in Indiana and its high school basketball team that was riding a 44-game losing streak. Taking a look at the town’s struggles with poverty, drug and alcohol abuse, absentee parenting and basketball, Medora provides a glimpse into formerly thriving industrial parts of America that have failed due to the economic collapse and outsourcing of jobs.
