Monta Ellis is one of the few players in Golden State that home fans aren’t booing, so, I guess it’s his job to defend those who are less popular with the paying customers: “That’s something that I hate… you’re not going to make every shot. Being our home fans, we love them to death. But things are not going right right now. And boos is not what we need. We need all the support right now to keep this team together. I don’t think he deserved to get booed. He came here, he’s been doing great. He just hasn’t learned the system yet. His shot’s not going—hey, it’s the league, everybody goes through it.I didn’t like the boos because we’re family. We consider them our family—our fans. We need all the support we can get.”
