New Orleans Hornets Waived Dominic McGuire

It’s going to be a tough weekend for Dominic McGuire, who was shown the door by the New Orleans Hornets today. From the team website: “The New Orleans Hornets announced today that the team has waived forward Dominic McGuire. The Hornets signed Dominic McGuire on December 16, 2012 as a free agent. Since his signing, McGuire has appeared in nine games and has averaged 2.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 16.0 minutes per game.”
