The Boston Celtics’ heart-breaking loss during a 7-game Playoff war with the Miami Heat last season is still eating away at Rajon Rondo. The star point guard says it will take him a very long time to get over the Eastern Conference Finals defeat. Per the Sun-Sentinel: “Maybe like six months,’ Rondo said of how long it will take to move on. When informed six months have not passed since Game 7, Rondo smiled. ‘I know,’ he said. ‘I’m not past it.’ The sting of blowing a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series remains entering Tuesday’s season-opener at AmericanAirlines Arena.
