Russell Westbrook Reportedly Being Held Out For Precautionary Reasons

 

Russell Westbrook’s knee is fully healthy but is being held out until after the All-Star break for “precaution,” according to Yahoo. Westbrook has sat out the Thunder’s last 20 games after undergoing right knee surgery on December 27, and reportedly has a target return date of February 20 against the Miami Heat:

That knee is strong again, Westbrook’s meniscus problems behind him, and it is merely precaution that’s keeps him out until after the All-Star break this month, sources said.
