Sting to Perform at the NBA All-Star Game

16-time Grammy Award-winning musician Sting will headline the NBA All-Star Game halftime show next month in Toronto, it was announced Thursday.

Cirque du Soleil will also perform prior to the big game.

From the press release:

Sting, the former frontman of The Police, will perform a compilation of his most celebrated hits during halftime for fans around the world to enjoy. His iconic career includes classics like “Every Breath You Take,” “Roxanne” and “Fields Of Gold.”

 

Prior to the start of the game, Cirque du Soleil will tip off the evening with a captivating performance blending together acrobatics, dance and technology illustrating the story of a basketball dream. The performance will culminate with the introduction of the 2016 NBA All-Stars.
