The Browns Wouldn’t Mind LeBron’s Help

There’s a good chance that James is the best basketball and football player in the city of Cleveland. Something he doesn’t shy away from pointing out: “Browns coach Eric Mangini was delighted to hear Cavaliers superstar LeBron James thinks he could help the football team’s woeful offense. ‘I think he should come on down,’ said Mangini with a smile. ‘I know he’s pretty busy right now, but if he wants to give it a shot, the guy’s gifted, gifted athletically. He’s competitive. He’s tough. I’m sure whatever he applied himself to — he’d probably be good in baseball or soccer or swimming. The guy’s a freak athletically.’ Responding to a question about the ‘Monday Night Football’ crew saying he would be a great NFL tight end and has the ‘best offense in the city of Cleveland,’ James said, ‘If I dedicated myself to the game of football, I could be really good, no matter what team I was on.’ He acknowledged: ‘For me to say I could start over the rookie from Georgia [Mohamed Massaquoi] or [Brian] Robiskie, I don’t know. I haven’t put in all the work. I’m very talented. I take my abilities [very seriously].'”
