2013 Forward Kuran Iverson Commits to Memphis

Kuran Iverson, a versatile 6-8 combo forward from Windsor, CT, gave a verbal commitment to the University of Memphis on Tuesday. Iverson can play and guard multiple positions, and has long been considered one of the best recruits in the class of 2013. Via CBSSports.com: “Iverson is a supremely talented prospect with some of the best all-around skills in his class. He is a very difficult matchup for opponents, due to his ability to handle the ball and play a point-forward role for his team. His length enables him to get to the rim against smaller defenders, and he knows how to finish at the rim. The biggest question with Iverson was his consistency on the court. Prior to this summer, his maturity was also a factor. Now, it seems Iverson is focused and looking to capitalize on his tremendous skillset. Memphis now has four top-100 prospects in the class of 2013. Iverson, ranked No. 22 by CBSSports.com, joins Nick King (No. 21), Markel Crawford (No. 89) and Rashawn Powell (No. 94).”
