The 2nd annual Brooklyn Bridge Holiday Classic (BBHC) has become a new holiday tradition in New York City. This event will offer impressive teams and their hard working players, the opportunity to play top competition and showcase their abilities. The Brooklyn Bridge Holiday Classic aims to create the best possible experience for players and to bring family, friends and fans together during the holiday season.

As tournament hosts, George Westinghouse High School and the Brooklyn Youth Sports Club would like to thank their partners, the Jordan Brand and the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, for their commitment to the event. The Jordan Brand is not only lending their prestigious reputation to the event but also supporting local youth in a generous and committed way. The BBHC is especially proud that a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center. In the process, we hope to bring attention to an important health issue that affects countless Brooklynites, New Yorkers, and society as whole.

The Brooklyn Bridge Holiday Classic will create an opportunity for Public, Private, Catholic and Charter school teams from different leagues to compete against each other, with bragging rights at stake! In future years, top teams from around the country will travel to participate in the BBHC to play top NYC competition.

In attendance will be dozens of NCAA college coaches, recruiting services, media outlets, and scouts, providing tournament participants with exposure and college opportunities. In addition, the Brooklyn Youth Sports Club will be offering all tournament participants ongoing academic support, including college application workshops and SAT prep.
