Jordan Brand’s Take Flight Challenge Slated for this Weekend in LA

As you guys may already have heard, the Jordan Brand assembled a pretty dope venue in Los Angeles just a couple of months ago. While the massive 76,500 sq. foot Jordan Hangar obviously puts the brand in a unique position — with its awing customized pro-length hardwood court, state-0f-the-art training and performance stations, a jumbotron, bleachers and two NBA-style locker rooms with an entertainment lounge, among other amenities — the facility isn’t just being used as a way to promote the signature sneakers of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin via exclusive events. It’s also being utilized to provide local high schoolers the opportunity to play in a posh atmosphere like no other — the same kind of exclusive privileges that the Jumpman have provided their two Clippers endorsers with.

On Friday, January 2 and Saturday, January 3, some of the top prep teams in California will converge at the Jordan Hangar in Playa Vista for the Take Flight Challenge. There will also be some out-of-state talent, including Orangeville Prep’s (Ontario, Canada) Thon Maker — regarded by some as the top prospect in North America in the class of 2016.

Check out the match-ups and times below, along with the location address.
