Kentucky Derby Classic Live Stream

The Kentucky Derby Classic has long been known as one of the nation’s finest high school all-star games. I’ve been at the game every year since ’05, back when Brandon Rush and Clarence Holloway were using the game to boost their stock as draft prospects in the last year that players could still jump straight to the League. The fan-friendly environment gives the fans a chance to chop it up with college basketball’s future stars in a meet-and-greet type autograph session the night before at the Night of Future Stars.

The Thursday night’s event could be described nothing short of dope. Players went hard during the two-on-two contest, treating it like a real game and not something just for the fans. Guards shot the lights out of the ball in the three-point shootout and guys like Keith Frazier, Anton Gill and Jordan Mickey showed out in the dunk contest. Oh and by the way, you’ll be able to check out the finals of the three-point and dunk contests right here during halftime of the game.

Once the game tips at 7 p.m. tonight, there will be no shortage of talent on the court. McDonald’s All-Americans Keith Frazier, Jarrell Martin and Jabari Bird highlight the roster, but they aren’t alone. Guys like Austin Nichols, Conner Frankamp and Zak Irvin have all had their moments in which they looked like burger boys. Athletic wings JaJuan Johnson, Robert Hubbs, Stanford Robinson and Troy Williams will give the fans plenty of highlights.

The local fans will get to see plenty of their schools future stars, too. In addition to Robinson and Williams, the Indiana Hoosiers have versatile wing Collin Hartman, 7-footer Luke Fischer, and 6-6 Devin Davis playing in the game. The Big Blue Nation will have Kentucky’s Mr. Basketball Dominique Hawkins in the game, but he’s joined by 6-9 face-up forward Derek Willis. Finally, the defending National Champs will have 6-10 skilled post Akoy Agau and 6-4 explosive guard Anton Gill joining shooters Dillon Avare and David Levitch.

Tune in for a night of live basketball and be sure to cop Ish 169 for a full recap of the game!
