Northeast All-American Camp Heads to New Jersey

In a time where exposure for high school girls’ basketball has been limited, the Northeast All-American Camp has worked to put together showcases throughout the fall/winter to help players fulfill their basketball dreams.

Beginning with a showcase in North Carolina, and moving to Long Island in the new year, the third camp will take place on April 3 in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

As the Northeast All-American Camp once again prepares to take center stage in the region during Easter Weekend, we take a look at some of the headliners slated to be involved:

2022 Watchlist

Shay Bollin (Bridgewater, MA), Bay State Jaguars: Bollin is a veteran of the circuit playing in multiple major events including the SLAM Summer Classic in 2019. A Duke University verbal commit, Bollin has proven herself to be one of the nation’s most versatile frontcourt prospects. Expect her to lead the pack with her energy and skill set here.

Paris Clark (Long island, NY), Exodus NYC: Clark is no stranger to the stage that these camps provide. She has established herself as one of the most proficient guards in the region playing alongside multiple McDonald’s All-Americans last club season. Clark has the potential to take her game to the next level starting on April 3rd.

Justine Pissott (Toms River, NJ), Philly Rise: Much like Bollin, Pissott has the country on notice with her early commitment to attend Tennessee. Pissott has been on a mission the past 12 months to ensure that grassroots basketball fans nationwide are familiar with her name and game. Once she hits the hardwood, her versatility speaks for itself.

Paulina Paris (Saddle River, NJ), Team Rio: Paris has the eye of some of the nation’s premier schools including NCAA Tournament No. 1 seeds NC State and UConn. Paris has a skill set reminiscent of former Wolfpack guard Aislinn “Ace” Konig at the same stage of her prep career.

2023 Watchlist

Paloma Garcia (Newtonville, MA), MCW Starz: As a representative of the Puerto Rican National Team, Garcia brings an international flavor to the camp. She’s a shifty guard with the ball in her hand capable of making plays getting downhill.

Amber Howard (Bensalem, PA), : Howard brings a unique blend of size, length and skill to the perimeter. She’s capable of playing multiple positions. A proficient outside shooter, keep an eye on Howard’s long range shooting at the camp.

Zahra King (West Chester, PA), Exodus NYC: King is a dynamic guard poised for a breakout summer in 2021. She can create off the dribble and seems to be in attack mode every time that the ball touches her hands. A stage like this is an ideal situation for a guard like King.

Ciera Toomey (Dunmore, PA), NEPA: Toomey has quite a buzz already and is in perfect position to take that up another level in a couple of weeks. Armed with multiple offers, she has the size and ability that colleges nationwide covet from their frontcourt prospects with a chance to get on the national map evaluation wise as well.

2024 Watchlist

Mikayla Blakes (Somerset, NJ), Team Rio: Blakes is a factor in large part through her ability to put the basketball in the hoop. She can let it fly from the outside as well as get into the lane off the dribble. Add that to her willingness to pass it and the makings are there for a high-level guard.

Leah Harmon (Washington, DC), Boo Williams: Harmon is a tough guard who never seems to shy away from a bump or contact. In that way, she is a potential leader of the pack in the class regionally as we head into this major proving ground. We plan to keep a close eye on Harmon in this setting.
