It’s been 15 years since Foamposites were the peak of basketball performance footwear, but given the sneaker’s emergence as a pinnacle hoop shoe and its continued resonance in the streets, it’s become one of the most iconic silhouettes to ever hit the hardwood.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro originally dropped back in 1997, designed by Eric Avar. On October 11, 2014, the “Elephant Pint” colorway will hit retail shelves, as an ode to the critical component of many of MJ’s kicks, plus pink to spice things up. You can cop at Nike.com/sportswear or NSW retailers starting next Saturday, for $250.
