Air Jordan III Returns

by Chris O’Leary/@olearychris

A long wait will end for a lot of sneakerheads this weekend when the Air Jordan III retro white/cement makes its way back into stores.

It’s not just the heads who know how big this release is, too. Foot Action will be hosting midnight release events in three different U.S. locations Friday night, with the shoes being the big finale to a brief event that features a DJ, raffles and prizes.

If you’re in NYC, Birmingham or Decatur (near Atlanta) Georgia and are hoping to pick up a legendary shoe in the Air Jordan line, check the events out.

I went into detail on this release way back in the summer in the 2010 KICKS issue. Air Jordan fans have waited a full 19 years for this colorway of the Air Jordan VII to make its return. That wait has given the shoe supreme grail status among JB fanatics and could make it one of the biggest releases the brand has done to date.
