Converse Unveils the ‘Auckland Modern’ Collection (KICKS)

Back in the day, Auckland, New Zealand was the birthplace of recreational running. That’s where the name of one of Converse’s most famous silhouettes comes from.

The Converse “Auckland Modern” is an update on a classic that first released 32 years ago, for the summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Part of this new version is Nike’s Hyperfuse technology, which creates a seamless upper that both adapts to and locks down your foot.
