NBA Kicks of the Night

Thanksgiving Eve proved to be an awesome night for kicks as a trio of high profile models made their debut on NBA courts.

In Cleveland, Kyrie Irving took the floor in the upcoming Nike Kyrie 2 Doernbecher as he played an integral role in Kevin Love’s record-breaking 34 points first quarter. Love, as he has done all season, wore the Nike Hyperdunk 2016. In Houston, James Harden debuted the latest edition of his signature sneaker, the ‘Imma Be A Star’ adidas Harden Vol.1, a model that was based on a note that he had written to his mother when he was young. Unfortunately for Harden and the Rockets, the team fell to the Raptors with DeMar DeRozan leading the way in the Nike Kobe Mentality 2.

Keeping with the Kobe theme, Isaiah Thomas and Buddy Hield both took the floor in the new Nike Kobe A.D. ‘Cool Grey,’ Bryant’s first signature model since retiring from the NBA. Other notable kicks on the night were Zach LaVine in the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 FTB,  James Johnson in the Air Jordan IX Retro, Jonathon Simmons in the Air Jordan III Retro ‘Cyber Monday,’ Tyler Ulis in the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Galaxy’ and Josh Richardson in the Nike Hyperdunk 2008 Lux.
