The newest colorway of the Nike KD7 is coming on November 25, and it’s called the KD7 “Lightning 534.” Inspired by New York City’s skyline, the 534 edition KDs are yet another weather-themed addition to Durant’s collection. Remember when KD dropped 66 at the Rucker in 2011? Yeah, he’s pretty fond of NYC.
The outsole of the “Lightning 534” features a meteorological-inspired graphic pattern, as does the Swoosh, with purple hues representing the towering lightning rod at top of the Empire State Building at the corner of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street in New York City.
