On Sunday at Ramsay Park in Boston, streetball warriors from Boston and New York City competed in the 7th annual Biv20K Blacktop Classic presented by Reebok and Michael “Biv” Bivins—of New Edition and Bell Biv Devoe fame. As Bivins likes to say, the tournament is to bring “one day of peace and positivity in the hood.”
After games for 14-and-unders and older heads, the main event went down between the Boston Streetballers and Entertainers Basketball Classic (NY) team. Boston defended its home court, and won the $20K prize, donated by Reebok Basketball.
