Stance Socks Debuts MLB Collection (PHOTOS)

Our friends at Stance made a big splash this season as the official sock providers for the 2015 NBA All-Star Game, and with it being Opening Day in baseball and all, it’s appropriate that they’ve announced their next big thing: the MLB Collection.

Yeah, we’re all about hoops, but we can appreciate baseball, too.

Details on the new socks, from Stance:

With more than 140 year’s worth of memorable games, unforgettable players and unreal happenings, Major League Baseball has a history that’s richer than just about any other sport. At the end of the day, though, being a baseball fan isn’t about wins and losses, pitchers and catchers, managers and umpires. Being a fan, really, is about representing your team and your city.

With that in mind, Stance, the brand that allows people to match their personality and socks, is excited to announce its inaugural MLB Collection. The multi-faceted line, which comes in to play on Opening Day, April 6, and continues with drops planted throughout the spring and summer, gets off the ground with two distinct styles – one featuring Club logos and another featuring legendary players.

The first MLB collection is a set of socks that showcases the logos of eight of the most storied teams and cities in baseball. Whether you are from Anaheim (Angels), Baltimore (Orioles), Boston (Red Sox), Cincinnati (Reds), Detroit (Tigers), Los Angeles (Dodgers), New York (Yankees) or St. Louis (Cardinals), this collection allows you to put on for your hometown no matter what base you’re at in life.

Likewise, the other noted collection, which features iconic imagery of Baseball Hall of Famers Cal Ripken, Jr., Johnny Bench, Lou Gehrig, Nolan Ryan, Ozzie Smith and Willie McCovey, gives true fans the chance to celebrate the greats who helped put their teams on the map.

This spring, with the help of Stance’s MLB line, it should be easy to remember that baseball—and life—isn’t about where you’re going as much as it’s about where you’re from.

Stance’s MLB collections drop on April 6th, for $14 and $16 respectively, and will be available at Stance.com, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Lids and many nationwide Stance retailers.
