2015 Ball For A Cause Game at Staples Center Recap

On Sunday, September 6, stars from all walks of life congregated at the Staples Center to play a game of basketball. But this game carried more meaning than most.

This was the inaugural Ball For A Cause charity celebrity game, co-hosted by Aces In Action and the Venice Basketball League—bringing together players from the East and West: Rucker Park and Venice Beach. The event raised funds for the V Foundation For Cancer Research and “community outreach initiatives for local youth.”

Among the big names who attended or played in the game were Terrell Owens, The Professor, Bone Collector, Romeo Miller, Marcellus Wiley, Cameron Boyce, Pat The Rock, and Lil Fizz. The celebs and legends made sure to put on a dope show for the fans who came out.
