Kevin Durant and James Harden Star in BBVA Commercial (VIDEO)

OKC Thunder superstar Kevin Durant filmed an ad for BBVA, the NBA’s official banking partner, along with former teammate James Harden.

The shoot took place in Spain this summer, atop the financial institution’s headquarters.

Per USA Today:

“The view took away all the nervousness and I went up there and I did what I had to do,” Harden said. “A basketball court on top of a building overlooking the beautiful city of Madrid is pretty dope.”

The commercial officially kicks off the new extension of the partnership between the NBA and BBVA, one of Spain’s largest banks. It is a deal that will pay the NBA more than $30 million a year, a person familiar with the deal said. The person requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly about the financial terms. […] BBVA also owns BBVA Compass, a U.S.-based bank with branches in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico and Texas.

“I like the way it came out,” Durant said. “It’s a different style, and it should be well-received. It was fun to do with James.”
