Not many people in this world can play basketball as well as Damian Lillard, and not many people can spit as well either. Dame’s music career is gaining steam and on his latest song, “Hero,” the Blazers point guard hooked up with soulful musician and fellow Bay Area native Raphael Saadiq.
Spreading a positive message, Dame admits to mistakes he’s made in the past and shares his life experiences in hopes of inspiring listeners. It’s bigger than rap, and ball for that matter.
