Antoine Walker Doesn’t Miss Miami

by Marcel Mutoni

Sure, he probably misses the nightlife and especially the great restaurants (sorry, ‘Toine fat jokes are hard-wired into my brain), but Antoine Walker doesn’t miss a single thing about playing for coach Pat Riley. In fact, ‘Toine says he couldn’t wait to get outta there.

”It was better for me to leave,” Walker said before Monday’s game.

“Riles kept my name in the papers for something negative, and it was a back-and-forth thing over body-fat. I was getting tired of that.”

Walker has a point: Riley isn’t the easiest guy in the world to play for.

But you must understand something: The man works 18 hour days! You try being cheery after that.
