Blazers Announce Jusuf Nurkic Will Miss A Month With Foot Injury

The Portland Trail Blazers announced that Jusuf Nurkic is out a month after suffering an injury in his left foot. He will be re-evaluated in four weeks after he finishes his rehab.

Nurkic has been battling plantar fasciitis symptoms throughout the season. He first dealt with the pain in September. The 27-year-old center averaged 15.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game on 53.5 percent shooting and 26.8 shooting from deep. His field goal accuracy and rebounding numbers are career-high marks. Nurkic is eighth in the League with 30 double-doubles.

The Trail Blazers (25-34) have 23 games remaining. They return to action against the Warriors (42-17).
