Donovan Mitchell Goes Off in Game 1 as Jazz Dispatch Clippers

D Mitch is a BUCKET!

Donovan Mitchell, known among the NBA fans and fraternity as “Spida”, went off in Tuesday night’s Western Conference semifinals matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers.

In what would be a 112-109 win for Mitchell’s Utah Jazz in Game 1, Spida’s 16-point third quarter lifted the Jazz over the Clippers, as he finished the game with a game-high 45 points, five assists and three rebounds.

I guess you can say NOBODY had an answer for what Donovan was bringing to the table.

While Spida’s performance drove Utah on Tuesday, the superhero in disguise was none other than defensive stalwart Rudy Gobert, whose game-winning block on a Marcus Morris 3-point attempt sealed a victory for the Jazz.

The good news didn’t stop at Utah’s nail-biter win, as the victory secured the Jazz’s 60th win (including preseason games) of the season, announcing the 60 scholarships they will be funding for students in underrepresented groups.

The Jazz will host the Clippers on Thursday night at 10 PM ET.
