G League Ignite Already Stacking Talented Roster for Next Season

With a handful of top recruits joining the G League Ignite in their inaugural season last March, players like Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga paved the way for future high school players to take the same path to the NBA.

Over the past week, the Ignite have started to load up their team for the 2021-22 season. For starters, five-star recruit Michael Foster joined the team over many college offers including Florida State and Georgia. The 6-foot-8 forward was the seventh-ranked high school player in the 2021 ESPN 100.

Shortly after, China’s top basketball prospect Fanbo Zeng de-committed from Gonzaga and will join Frazier on the Ignite, as first reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Zeng is a four-star recruit and will be eligible for the 2022 NBA Draft alongside Frazier.

While it’s likely they continue to add more young talent, the Ignite are loading up once again for next season.
