Heat Check 2020-21: Memphis Grizzlies

It’s been a disappointing season for the Memphis Grizzlies thus far as they’ve watched Ja Morant go down with an ankle injury, lost more games than they’ve won and still haven’t seen Jaren Jackson Jr. suit up for any action.

The Morant injury came just as he started to show that he was in line for a drastic step forward in 2020-21. Kyle Anderson has filled the stat sheet out of the gates but other returning players, like Brandon Clarke and De’Anthony Melton, have been quiet.
