Heat Check 2020-21: Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves knew exactly what they were investing in when they onboarded Malik Beasley at the trade deadline last season. Now four games into his first full season with Wolves, on a freshly inked long-term deal no less, Beasley is paying dividends.

Expect Ricky Rubio and D’Angelo Russell to ramp up as they acclimate to sharing time in Minnesota’s backcourt, that may be a critical piece of the puzzle if this team hopes to compete for a playoff spot.
