Jerry Sloan Thinks That Dye Job Makes You Look Clownish

by Marcel Mutoni

There are a few things in this world – OK, a lot of things, but stay with me here – that Jerry Sloan isn’t a big fan of: Lack of hustle, selfishness on the court, not playing defense, and … a grown man making the decision to dye his hair.

So, imagine his reaction to 21-year old big man Kyrylo Fesenko’s blonde dye job. From the Salt Lake Tribune.

He’s got a long way to go to make himself a better player,” Sloan said. “He has skills, but sometimes the outside things will take you right out of this game. If those things are more important than basketball, that’s where you get in trouble.”

“A lot of people have skills,” Sloan added. “A lot of them are sitting on the sidewalk wondering what happened 20 years ago when they had a chance. He’s got to figure out what he wants to do and play basketball or be a clown.”

Word of advice, Kyrylo: Find a barber. Stat. If you plan on extricating yourself from Sloan’s doghouse next season, that is.
