Knicks Attempting To Package Picks And Move Into Lottery

After an excellent season, the New York Knicks are looking to have a productive offseason, starting with Thursday’s draft. Luckily for them, they own the No. 19 and No. 21 picks, giving them quite a bit of flexibility.

While there’s always value that can be found in that draft range, the Knicks are looking to move into the lottery by packaging these picks.

According to Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman, New York offered both of these first rounders to the Warriors for their No. 14 pick. Golden State reportedly declined this offer.

While this deal didn’t come to fruition, there’s still a chance to move into the lottery for the Knicks. It appears that several teams late in the lottery could be willing to trade back for the right price.
