Gibson sprained his ankle in the first half of the New York Knicks’ 104-113 loss against the visiting Toronto Raptors.
Coach Tom Thibodeau says he didn’t have a sense of the severity of Gibson’s injury and Noel warmed up and “couldn’t give it a go” according to Fred Katz of the Athletic Reports.
According to Katz, Thibodeau says that Gibson did practice on Tuesday and that both he and Noel, who Thibs says “missed practice for personal reasons,” will travel with the team when they play the Pacers on Wednesday. They’ll both be listed as questionable.
Taj Gibson participated in practice today, Thibodeau says. Nerlens Noel missed practice for personal reasons. They’ll both travel to Indiana for tomorrow’s game, where they’ll be questionable.— Fred Katz (@FredKatz) November 2, 2021
