Kobe Bryant Allegedly Injured Wrist of Fellow Churchgoer

Congratulations are in order for Kobe Bryant, who takes the cake for the strangest NBA-related incident of the summer.

A man alleges that Kobe hurt his wrist — enough for him to end up in the hospital — when the Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar guard thought the dude was secretely photographing Bryant and his family during service at a church this past Sunday.

Kobe supposedly grabbed the guy’s phone, “injured” him in the process, but did not find any pictures.

From News 10 and the OC Register:

Sources told 10News Bryant was attending a church service at St. Therese of Carmel in Carmel Valley Sunday and thought someone was taking pictures of him with a cellphone. According to police, Bryant took the phone from the man, did not see any pictures and then left the church.

The man said he had to go to the hospital for treatment on his wrist.

San Diego police are now investigating the matter.

The lesson here, friends, is not to allow Kobe Bryant to think you’re snapping pics of him and his fam while at church. It may result in a injured wrist.
