Michael Redd Plans to Return This Weekend

One of the most lethal shooters in the game, Milwaukee Bucks swingman Michael Redd has been sidelined for the past 14 months following knee surgery. Redd originally injured his left knee in January 2009, tearing the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments, and re-injured the same knee in January of 2010. Through the prolonged healing process, Redd’s continued to rehab and work hard, and is aiming for a return this weekend. For a guy who’s played in only 51 of 231 games the past three seasons, there will undoubtedly be several question marks surrounding his game and durability. From Nick Monroe: “Michael Redd went through 5-on-5 practice today & hopes to return to the court either Friday (@ NYK) or Saturday (vs. CHI).”
