New Orleans Pelicans: Projected 2020-21 Depth Chart

The New Orleans Pelicans have completely revamped their roster through a handful of major trades over the last two offseasons. In fact, their roster has no remaining players from their 2018-19 team. Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram are two of the most young exciting players in the NBA and should be great in the 2020-21 season.

Biggest Questions

  • What are the Pelicans looking to accomplish this season? While they’ve got a ton of young talent and a bright future, the Western Conference is stacked. Does it make sense to make a playoff push or settle for another season with a lottery pick before pushing to become a contender down the road?
  • Will Zion Williamson be restricted this season? As great as he was as a rookie, his minutes were restricted and he was very limited. If Williamson is going to be the generational talent many think he can be, it may be time to let him loose on the floor.
