Player of the D.A.Y.

I talked about SLAMADAMONTHS and highlights yesterday and turned around and gave the trophy to someone that played a dominant game for a winning team. That’s happening again today. The Nate block and Monta Ellis dunk both came in losses, although Monta racked up 31 points along the way. Steve Nash had a big night and hit the game winner, but…

It’s got to go to Carlos Boozer. Going up against Chris Bosh, the guy that still gets grief for turning his back on Cleveland and then relaxing with his money somewhat in Utah, hit 14 of 16 shots for a 35 point and 9 rebound game, leading the Jazz to their league best 10-1 record.
