Player of the D.A.Y.

By Sam Rubenstein

Before I hand out today’s award, I would like you to take a brief moment of your time to read something horrible. This.

I always knew there was something wrong with Taco Bell. I didn’t know it was like that. Ga-ross. Di-sgusting. Not that surprising.

Okay, so now that we’re all in a feel-good mood, let’s talk basketball. The Player of the D.A.Y. is Elton Brand, who scored 31 points against the team with the best record in the East and the young big man who is getting all the buzz as the post player of the present and future. Elton hit 12 of his 14 shots. That is really good, and the Clippers restored their home court dominance with a blowout win.

Lang and I had tacos for lunch by the way. Not from Taco Bell, thankfully.
