I’m running late, and supposed to get on train and go O.T., so the Player of the D.A.Y. comes early. Allen Iverson is still a 76er. For now.

Even though it was against the Bobcats, Amare Stoudemire takes the trophy. 22 and 12 on 8 of 11 shooting, with two of those points coming on Okafor’s head. For a guy who’s rehab was one of the stories of the offseason, his return to dominance has been pretty understated. He’s not back all the way, but he’s a big part of the Suns 10 game winning streak. The Manchild is on the road to recovery.
