Player of the D.A.Y.

By Sam Rubenstein

There isn’t much jumping out at me for Player of the D.A.Y. Stephon had a good game and hit the big shot, but Eddy Curry had his best game in a while too. Besides, it was the Cavs in New York City, so LeBron may have been distracted by all of the networking opportunities in the building. I kid!

Rashard Lewis had another big night, but he’s just not getting this two days in a row. Utah had some big performances from the big three of Williams, Boozer, and Okur, but that was against Minnesota with the Twolves coming off a crushing loss to Rashard and the Sonics.

I am going to give today’s understated Player of the D.A.Y. to the Tim Duncan Robot. He scored 31 as the Spurs came from behind to beat the Hornets. Tim Duncan will be solid and dependable until the day he dies.

And now I have to put my game face on for my fantasy baseball draft. Going home to convert one of the rooms of my apartment into the “War room.”
