Post Up: We Win

Spurs 106 (33-6), Nets 79 (10-28)

The San Antonio Spurs cruised to their eighth straight victory tonight as they beat out the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center. LaMarcus Aldridge led the way for the team from Texas, with a game-high 25 points and 11 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard added 17 points and 8 assists, with a couple of mean slams too.

Wizards 114 (17-19), Bulls 100 (22-14)

Joakim Noah returned to the hardwood tonight after missing nine straight games, but John Wall and his Washington Wizards spoiled the occasion. Wall’s 17-point, 10-assist double-double led the Wiz to a win over the Chicago Bulls in the Windy City, despite Derrick Rose’s 17 points (which pushed him into 10th all-time in Bulls scoring history) and Jimmy Butler’s 23.

Warriors 111 (36-2), Heat 103 (22-16)

The Miami Heat got an A for effort for their performance against the League’s best Golden State Warriors, but nothing more. The Warriors, then, earned yet another W for their win column. Led by reigning MVP Stephen Curry and his 31 points, Dub Nation added to its perfect home record after surviving a match against Dwyane Wade (20 points, 11 assists), Chris Bosh (15 points, 12 boards) and the rest of the Heat. That makes seven wins in a row for the Warriors.
